About

Welcome to the Mommy Scout blog!  I am a stay-at-home mom to two sweet and amazing munchkins while also working part-time for an online research company.  Before having kids, I worked as a foreign and defense policy analyst, and lived in the Middle East for two years.  Daddy Scout and I love to travel and explore, run and do Crossfit, and debate politics.  We live in Utah.

I decided to start this blog because I like to read… a LOT.  And, both because of my part-time job and my slightly neurotic nature, I like to research… a LOT.  And all of that information needs to go someplace other than my head!  So here’s to hoping it can save you some time or help you to make a decision for your family.
